INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup each (diced large) bell pepper, celery, and onion
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 14oz tomatoes
- 8 oz tomatoe sauce
- 1 Tbsp hot sauce (more or less)
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt & pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- sliced green onions
- sticky rice
DIRECTIONS:
- Saute bell pepper, celery, and onion in olive oil. Add chili powder and cook until carmelized.
- Add to crock pot.
- Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, hot sauce, salt, pepper, worcestershire and sugar to crock pot. Stir, then cover.
- Cook 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
- Just before serving, add shrimp and cook on high 3-5 minutes.
- Serve over sticky rice and garnish with onions.
